Exceeding Expectations
This was my first concert featuring Spyro Gyra, and I had rather high expectations for what I would witness. Watching them perform in various media over the years convinced me that they were an incredibly impressive live band. Nevertheless, they not only met but surpassed my expectations, leaving me completely awestruck.
The stage is difficult to articulate without witnessing it firsthand. A main stage connected to a smaller circular stage by a long runaway, the seemingly limited setup is transformed by the incorporation of a transparent screen that the band members occasionally enter!
The setlist featured an excellent blend of older tracks alongside a generous selection from the most recent album. Rare gems like "I will follow" and "Gloria" were included, as well as standout tracks such as "Beautiful Day", "Bullet the Blue Sky", and "One".
In sum, this is undeniably one of the greatest concerts I have ever attended, and it is an absolute must-see!
